Eli Assessment
ABOUT
The Energy Leadership™ Index (ELI) assessment is an attitudinal assessment created by iPEC, which helps you identify how you approach life and situations, what is holding you back and what to do about it. It takes something abstract, like the way a person views the world, and turns it into something tangible a metric that you can see and feel and evolve over time.
TYPES OF ENERGIES
The ELI Assessment is measuring the way people “show up”
in their lives or at work, through the lense of 2 types of energy:

CATABOLIC ENERGY:
The energy of Stress
When facing a perceived danger, our body has a natural response to allocate all its resources and attention on it. While this is useful and allows us to push ourselves, this impairs our ability to take a step back and think clearly.
Also, when we spend too much time in catabolic energy, we are using up our resources and are straining ourselves. This can have consequences on our health.
ANABOLIC ENERGY:
The Coherence, creation and collaboration
Anabolic energy is the opposite of catabolic energy. It’s when we are our best, in control of ourselves with full access to our inner wisdom and the ability to see the bigger picture.
THE 7 LEVELS OF AWARENESS
What lens are you using to view the world in this moment?
We use 7 levels of awareness to describe what attitude you might be experiencing:
- Level 1: "I lose"
Lack of Choice. Victim Energy
- Level 2: "You lose"
Anger, Resistance
- Level 3: "I win"
Rationalisation, Justification
- Level 4: "You win"
Care, Compassion, Service to others
- Level 5: "We all win or nobody plays"
Win-Win, Acceptance, Opportunities
- Level 6: "Everybody always wins"
Intuition, Wisdom
- Level 7: "There are no winners or losers"
Passion, Creation
No level is good or bad, all have a purpose, advantages, and disadvantages.
They also all come into play within us. Being aware of them, gives you the opportunity to pause and reflect:
“is this how i want to show up?”.
