Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy
Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy is a practice combining CBT techniques with Hypnotherapy. It aims at exploring how we act (behavioural) and how we think (cognitive); teaching you the skills you need to be able to cope
Hypnotherapy is a technique that is based on suggestibility. When we are hypnotised, we choose to go along with the suggestions that are offered to us and to let our mind engage with them. We however remain in full control. At any point, we can open our eyes and end the hypnosis.
Evidence-based practice in hypnotherapy is based on the principle that every technique and model is backed up by a major piece of scientific research. Clinical trials have been run. They have confirmed with reasonable certainty that this set of techniques and models works and meets expectations.
